About Better Days
Better Days is a boutique creative and social media marketing agency specializing in hospitality, lifestyle, and experience-driven brands.
Founded by a husband-and-wife team, we combine professional photography, creative content, and thoughtful social media strategy to help brands show up beautifully (and effectively) online.
We work with hotels, restaurants, and lifestyle brands to create content that makes people stop scrolling, start dreaming, and ultimately take action.
We're a small, hands-on team that moves quickly, thinks creatively, and believes great content should do more than just look good.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team in a part-time, entry-level capacity!
You'll support the day-to-day execution of social media content for our clients, helping turn existing photography and video footage into engaging posts, writing captions, scheduling content, and keeping our creative projects organized.
You'll also play an important role behind the scenes, assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating projects, and helping our small team stay organized.
This is a primarily remote position, but we're looking for someone based in the Los Angeles area who can occasionally join us at client properties for on-site content capture.
It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who loves social media, has a strong creative eye, and is excited to gain hands-on experience working with hospitality and lifestyle brands.
What You'll Do
Create Social Content: Turn existing photo and video assets into engaging Instagram Reels, carousels, Stories, and static posts.
Edit Photo & Video: Edit short-form videos and photos using tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms.
Write & Schedule Content: Draft captions, upload content, and schedule posts across multiple client accounts.
Capture Content: Occasionally visit client properties throughout Los Angeles to capture iPhone photo and video content.
Coordinate Projects: Help maintain content calendars, organize creative assets, track deliverables, and keep projects on schedule.
Support Agency Operations: Assist with scheduling, research, administrative tasks, client coordination, and other day-to-day business needs.
Bring Fresh Ideas: Stay up to date on social media trends and contribute creative ideas for our clients.
What We're Looking For
Some experience creating, shooting, or editing social media content, whether through internships, school projects, freelance work, or personal accounts.
Familiarity with CapCut, Edits, Canva, or similar creative editing tools.
Have a portfolio or social media account showcasing your creative work.
A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
A creative eye for photography, video, design, and visual storytelling.
Strong writing skills and an interest in learning how to adapt content for different brand voices.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A proactive, dependable attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
Comfortable capturing photo and video content on an iPhone.
Based in the greater Los Angeles area with reliable transportation for occasional on-site shoots.
Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, primarily remotely.
Bonus Points If You:
Have experience creating content for hotels, restaurants, travel, or lifestyle brands.
Have worked with social media scheduling tools.
Have a degree in marketing, communications, photography, or a related field.
Previous agency experience is not required. We're more interested in finding someone who's creative, organized, eager to learn, and excited to grow with our team.
Why Better Days?
You'll get hands-on experience at a growing creative agency, working directly with senior-level marketing and photography professionals. You'll have the opportunity to build your portfolio, contribute creative ideas, and see your work come to life across real client accounts. We're a small team, which means your work will make a real impact.
